ROYAL OAK — The latest on women in technology, automotive tech, drone law and IT security — all will be covered on the Monday, Sept. 18 edition of the M2 TechCast.
The weekly show featuring technology and business from a Michigan perspective kicks off at 3 p.m. Eastern time with Kathleen Norton-Schock. She’ll talk about the latest activities at the Michigan Council of Women in Technology, her own podcast, Diva Tech Talk, and more.
At 3:15, the guest will be longtime auto industry observer David Cole of Auto Harvest, who will cover the latest advances in automotive industry technology, including auto cybersecurity, zero-emissions vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and the looming talent shortage in the industry.
At 3:30, drone law attorney Enrico Schaefer of Traverse City will call in, covering the latest activities in the fast-growing unmanned aerial vehicle industry. He’ll also cover InterDrone, the biggest commercial drone conference in the world, which took place Sept. 5-7 in Las Vegas, Nev.
The show wraps up at 3:45 p.m. with internet security expert Dan Lohrmann of Grand Ledge, covering the latest threats to our online lives, including the recent, massive Equifax data breach.
